One thing I really like in Windows as a programmer is this type of stuff:
IE is a part of the OS (as a *non* programmer I don't always like that
), so it's pretty damn easy to use it in my own applications. All
it takes is a few simple API calls, and wopee, I have a good HTML rendering
display with printing possibility in my app. I use it often for all sorts
of reports in my apps, just generate the HTML, display it in "built
in" preview which in fact is the rendering part of IE, and with a
click of a button the user can print it out. Very snappy stuff.
