Thats true but when horses that are only on alfalfa with no other
problems get stones its usually the alfalfa. The vet from Pioneer
Equine Hospital said that the hay was the cause for this horse.
What a terrible thing to have happen with that stud. I've spent hours
helping to walk colicing horses. Thats one great thing about our barn.
If a horse has a problem everyone helps. Just because its your horse
doesn't mean that you are on your own. We all help each other. If a
horse needs medicine and we know that the owner will have trouble
getting out we volunteer to give it then they help us when the situation
is reversed.
