RB> BR> Sorry, not a part of any experience of which I'd choose to be a

RB> BR> felons, of course, does nothing whatever for or to you....
RB> Far from YOUR reality. Don't be so damned arrogant to assume that the

RB> treat YOU isn't different than the way a cop treats a young black man.
BR> MOST of the cops I know ARE young black men.
And here in Austin, where I live, many, if not most of the _cops_ I see
are black men or women. So what?
The last time I was stopped for a traffic violation, it was by a black
policemen. Was I supposed to scream that he was discriminating against
me because I was a different color? He wasn't. He politely explained
what I had done wrong, asked me to try to watch it in the future, and
bid me to have a nice day. No ticket was issued.
When my home was burglarized, two very nice black policemen came to
investigate. They were courteous, professional, and clearly knew
their work well. They didn't downplay my loss because I was white.
I don't see any of the white people I know expressing any fear because
so many of the police are black people. They are well trained, and
obviously do a very good job.
You and your ilk see too many non-existent bogeymen.
Kent,
... I am a colored person. Sort of a blotchy, pinkish tan.
