I had a very pleasant experience with WDC service when my drive failed a
couple of years ago (when a 20G drive was still "fairly
large"...). They sent me a replacement drive, and a prepaid mailer in
which to return the defective one, and gave me two weeks after receiving
the replacement to send back the old one.
