Well I received a humungous amount of mail from Dave today,
and I could see it and I could shudder in fear, but instead
I decided to clean up some of my disk space toote sweet
(hi Bill) and in the end, it got down to about 5 meg disk
space free, but it survived. Next time I may not be so
lucky, so I'm planning on doing some cleanup. I've basically
only got on my C drive:
1. Full OS/2 installation
2. Full DOS installation
3. Full Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installation
4. Binkley
5. Maximus
6. File areas
7. Point mail
I think (6) is probably the place that will reap the most
rewards, so if you would like to grab the files list, and
delete all the CRAP that you uploaded for one of your poofter
friends to download, let me know the filenames!
I am tempted to delete Anthony May's 8.5 meg of waiting mail,
but I'd rather have the opportunity to imagine the horror on
his face when he sees it all arrive. I think the 420 meg
disk that the BBS is on is enough disk space to allocate for
the BBS. If it doesn't fit on that, it means I'm keeping
unnecessary crap. Certainly the stuff that I REALLY want,
which is public domain source code, will certainly all fit,
I've just got to figure out whether being a shareware
distribution site is all it's cracked up to be. BFN. Paul.
