subject: REXX programming...

Hello All!

If this is in the wrong echo, I am sorry, but this is the only Os/2
programming echo that we get in South Africa...

I would like to know how you can edit a line in a text file with REXX.
Say I have a line of 50 characters and I want to add the time at the end of it.
It is a little program to show the today callers to my BBS. The output
should look like this:

       User From Time in/out

  Graeme Geldenhuys Somerset West 6:02pm - 6:35pm

I can put the users name, place and login time on a line, but I don't know
how to add the last time (logout time) to that line when the user leaves
the system...?

   Cheers,
      Graeme
