What bugs are you talking about?? I have used Telemate 4.21 everyday
since it first was released on the Internet and not one problem so far doing
all sorts of stuff and under DOS, Win 95 and OS/2!

For one, it has a nasty habit of not taking the modem "off-hook"
requiring several tries to get the modem to dial. Also, problems
hanging up after the call is completed. Others have reported the same.

Hi Barrie,
I can't speak for Winfred, but this complaint has been lodged
before and I believe that I recall a statement that he intends to
try to correct the problem. When? I do not know.

Until Winfred comes out with an update, you'll have to do it
the hard way. You're welcome to ask questions about your problems
here, but you'll have to be more specific as to your problem. You
also must realize that this is an international echo and that
turnaround time from North America to Australia is substantial. I
am sure that Oz has local networks with technical message areas. I
would urge you to ask questions in those areas as well.

I don't mind a couple line signature like the above, but the
multi-line sig box you have below violates the rules of this echo.
Please don't post it in messages to this echo in the future.
