    It's difficult for a hearing person to imagine what it
must be like to be deaf, or to appreciate what would be a helpful approach.
Did you write back and say "Hey, I'm deaf! Any chance of a
transcript?"  Implying that hearing people lack intelligence is just
like assuming that deaf people do: it's sweeping enough to be meaningless
imo.
