PV> If he's talking about Workframe, then it would be justifiable to say that, since Workframe is built around Workplace Shell extensions. But he isn't. He's talking about VisualBuilder, which is a SmallTalk program, and pretty much self-contained. It doesn't use Workplace Shell. Actually, the O-O underpinnings of WPS are very stable by now (it has been three years, after all). And looking at the ease with which companies such as StarDock Systems (Object Desktop) and DataMirage Software (LiveWire/PM) are coming out with Workplace Shell programs, I'd say that it was pretty mature as well. I only wish that I had enough time to do WPS programming myself. As it is, all that I can do is dabble. > JdeBP < ___ X MegaMail 2.10 #0: --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: DoNoR/2,Woking UK (44-1483-725167) (2:440/4) SEEN-BY: 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 807 808 809 934 955 712/407 SEEN-BY: 712/515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 440/4 141/209 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
