RF> Hi. I have a question for you. I have Radio Shack's top of the line
HF,
RF> UHF, FM amplified indoor antenna. Could I safely connect it to my Radio
RF> Shack handheld Pro 60 scanner using a 300 ohm to 75 matching
transformer,
RF> and if so, do you think it would work good? The antenna comes with a
RF> 75 ohm connector, coax cable, etc... Thanks.
Safely, yes.. It probably will not work very well if it is not
vertical. Give it a try and see how well it works compaired to about
any vertical type. or try turning it vertical.
