CR> For me, actually seeing Marillion vinyl has been hard to do. I was
CR> lucky enough to find _Brief Encounter_ in mint condition about a year
CR> ago and I bought it. Recently the store I visit has a mint condition
I'd really like that one. I'm still heartily searching for it, I'd
like to complete my collection. That's too bad that you are in a
bad area for Marillion vinyl. Such excellent covers...
CR> LP of _Real To Reel_ which I may pick up. I have no real reason to,
That's your fav, isn't it?
CR> Arizona that used to carry a lot of Marillion 12" singles. I got a
CR> few.
Which ones? I love some of the B-sides... of course, I had heard
many of them before on _B-sides themselves_, which I just have on a
cassette (boo!) but it's great to actually flip the album and hear
the B side... I *love* "Freaks" and "Lady Nina". Perhaps the
coolest vinyl I located is the "Market Square Heroes" 12", with the
B-side of "Grendel". Love that tune as well, obviously, and as this
is Marillion's very first release, it's great to have. I don't know
how many of their singles were released in the States, but these
ones are all British.
CR> The place I go to has a picture disk of _Wise After The Event_. I'm
CR> thinking about picking it up, but will I like the music? Keep in mind
CR> that I don't care for _The Geese and The Ghost_.
I doubt you'll like _Wise after the event_ then. It's a little
different than _Ghost_ but still, I doubt you'll like very much of
AP's solo work at all. The pic disc would be nice to have, though.
I've found a lot of his stuff, which I'm pleased with, though I'm
having trouble locating _Private Parts and Pieces V_.
