(mis)interpretation and (mis)understanding that is confusing you...

how do you know they "overlooked" it? were you there when it was
written? it seems to me that they did cover the possibility in other
sections... remember, policy is to be read and taken as a whole not in
piecemeal...

i don't give a damn who is the IC as long as they do what is right... i'm
one of those "vocal sysops" and i felt that ward wasn't doing
things right and hadn't been in several years... it first started when he
tried to forcibly take a fidonet domain away from a Z2 sysop... there
are/were other matters that came up where he demonstrated his
heavyhandedness and his "power of control" methods... somehow,
these methods carried over to other areas where they should not have
been... /that/ is _one_ reason why i voiced my opinion to Z1C that ward
should be removed as IC... it had absolutely nothing to do with the IC not
being from Z1... i've also had conversations with numerous others and none
have voiced that opinion... now, please stop making things up...
