Indeed.

That depends on your definition of "me". I'd say it could not
have been you since the DNA would be different. OTOH, the person claiming
to be "you" would not know about all that. He/she would be
"me" to him/herself.

In that case your grandparents would have met someone else and someone else
would have been born in your place.

Because of the US intervention that person is not born however. The US
denied him/her the right to be born.
