I disagree. The move gives them a better player at center (Grissom IS good 
but there's no doubt about the fact that Lofton is better) and they've got 
much needed bullpen help.
It also gives them $7.8 mil in IMMEDIATE savings ($6 mil in salary and $1.8 
mil in luxury tax) and if they move McGriff, it gives them $10.8 mil that can 
be used on their pitchers AND Lofton.
