Very true on the 1 year old we don't punish other than to remove the
object from his reach and a firm No but the 2 year old has a mind of his
own and he does not listen to No all the time and He does not have
access to the streethe was riding his bike and I was next to him he made
a break for it I stoped him he tried again I told him not to do it and
we would go home if he did Well needless to say he tried got swated and
we went home. The last resort here is a swat believe me speaking as a
former victom of child abuse we won't do that to our sons!
