Hello Michael,
In a message dated 19 Sep 96 you wrote to me :

The one advertised at Jaycar (50cents each) are NTC type - 470 ohms at 25
degrees C. It would work quite well.

There really isn't a great deal of difference between PTC and NTC sensors
when talking linearity, with either sensor you will have to calibrate them
at a number of temperatures. If you really want a linear temperature
sensor then you will have to get a Platinum one (neither PTC or NTC)

I can't see the design being too complex - do you have any code that will
read the sensor?? If you send some details I would like to have a go at it
also.
