some might, if they care to speak up, i'll listen (yourself excluded).
of course, i dont send sarcastic and bombastic messages to people trying
to pour scorn on their views (yourself excluded). i also dont look upon
e-mail exchanges as a way of scoring points off others, that is the
province of those with rather major inferiority complexes (does "game,
set, and match" ring any bells?).

when you can produce any evidence of the ability to send full motion vcr
quality video over and ordinary copper pair telephone line, or even an
isdn b channel i will gladly agree that you are right without any
argument. however, your saying that it is possible, is not evidence of
anything other than your delusions. even your original contention of
getting a vcr quality movie on a cd rom is just plain wrong, vcr quality
pictures are possible from a cd rom but you need something a little more
than double speed to do it. even if we stretch a point and allow that
the the quality from a double speed (what a horrendous concept) cd is
equal to that of a vcr, that gives a playing time of 36 minutes per cd
not exactly movie length , and a bandwidth beyond that of even a full
isdn link (2b + d). as i said before, if you can give any reference to
any published data to contradict that then i'll accept that i am wrong.

speed cliche #150 bores everybody shitless but fills up the page
RS> evidence ? No ? How surprising
when you get off your bum and specify what i am supposed to have claimed
rather than your usual dark hints, i'll bother to reply.
while on the subject of producing hard evidence of things, when are you
going to produce anything to back up your claims that every pc sold
comes with dos and windows, or that the new generation of ide drives can
present more than 16 heads rather than the motherboard, or ide adaptor
board bios doing translation?
RS> Keef.
another speed cliche, i suppose that it is better than "poor mad bob",
"whiteboy", "gribble", or "yuppie" in fact it
quite reminds me of when
my kids were young, as does the general intellectual level of your
discussions. (:
