While doing my searches, I came across this which I thought might be of interest:

Hey folks, I recently was asked to take over an echo that was floundering
who had lost its moderator and the substitute moderator just didn't have
the time to devote to the echo. I would like to repost the message I got to
post in there tonight just 12 days after I took over the echo.

Just note the echo started with 5 messages for the 1st week of August and
we raised it to 22 for the 1st week I took over but this past 3 days we
have had as many as 62 messages in one day (YESTERDAY) And the lowest was
32 for Tuesday. I don't have Sunday and Mondays stats but the weekly stats
will be posted on Sunday for all to see. :)

So if you're interested in an echo that has that down home feeling where
you can grab a cup of coffee and just sit around chatting about the weather
or read a few jokes or stories then join us TODAY!!!

Okay I have kept up with the stats since the week I took over this echo.
Here they are and I especially want you to notice the past 3 days. :)

I took over on 8/07 so only 1 days worth was in this first week.

EchoMail Traffic (continued)

1st real week and we're up to 22 messages with an average of 3 per day with
a maximum of 5 per day but we still had at least 1 day with 0 because the
minimum per day was 0. :(

I don't believe it! Thursday and we had 62 messages! :) I doubt if we can
top that Friday and Saturday but I can't wait to see the 2nd week total.
Here is 146 in just the past 3 days. :) Keep up the good work and I'll keep
trying to keep things jumping and adding in all sorts of jokes and stories
I find.

Time does fly.  Too bad that I can't establish where Bobby now is (although
I have a pretty good idea.
