PE> trigger a "ANSWER THE FUCKING THING". You know, I think I can PE> probably do that, because I can't actually hang up on the caller PE> can I? So long as they stay on the line, it will give my software PE> a chance to say "whoops, let's see if we can get them again", and PE> send an ATA to the modem??? RS> Yeah, its completely routine and most BBSs that dial out RS> allow for that case like that. I think Dave reads this echo, RS> but if he doesnt give you the Bink config, ask him directly. PE> Sometimes it says "Incoming call received, dial PE> aborted", but at other times I get the no dialtone. I forget the fine detail on how to do it, but Bink can be setup to do what you want. Dave does it like that from memory. The first of your messages is likely just Bink doing what its currently been told to do, abort the dial on an incoming call, but not answer it. Presumably its seen RING text. The second one its not seen dialtone, so it just gives up. When you want it to try answering in that case instead. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
