Or output directly to the port anyway. Works for me, though it's an ugly
solution. I don't exactly know what the status with this is; whether it is
technically allowable or not, but I found some example source from Watcom
which has a little bit of 16-bit code to perform direct hardware bonking,
anywhere, anytime. Works well.
