Hi everbody! 
 
   The one thing I learned this season was that it's really tough to 
keep up with the roadies on a Hybrid Bike! specially after 40 to 50 
Miles. Whew ... Lookin' for something new! Got my eye on the 98 
Cannondale Silk Road 500. Nice Lookin Toy. Seems to be a Middle of the 
road bike in components. I don't do any raceing, though sometimes my 
body feels that way after rides. I enjoy group rides of about 40 to 60
miles. Just don't want to be cripple for 3 days later! The Headshok 
looks to soften the ride. ( I have a C-Dale v600 Mtbike and love the 
headshok). The info I got on the bike I found on the internet so I have 
no idea what the price range is (cringe). 
  Anybody have any personal experience or knowledge of this bike, other 
than a sales person looking for his commission, if you could let me 
know if this is a good choice. ie. quality/$$$$
