My Mandrake (extended) boot partition is below the 8GB mark on both drives.
It also turns out that Mandrake 9.0 has builtin support for the HPT370, so
that's not a problem.  Anyway, if I can't get XP to boot, Mandrake is the
least of my worries.

I've now been told by both MS and Symantec that I have to run Sysprep on
the source drive before Ghosting it.  I'm really loathe to tinker with my
working XP on the chance that the Ghost copy MAY work.
