         I wonder what your point is.  I was replying to a post
saying that Chevrolet 283 engines meant 283 hp and they all had
fuel injection.
         My reply note that the 283 cubic inch Chevrolet engine
was the standard V-8 engine for Chevrolets for many years, and
none of those I had were fuel injected.
         There may have been an *option* for the 1957 Bel Air
(which would not contradict at all my statement that all the
Chevrolets I had with standard 283s did not have fuel injection).
         Corvettes...I don't know, and I'm not sure I'd agree
that Corvette equals standard Chevrolet.
