Borland produced DOS based compilers at least through version 4.52. All
that got dropped was their (IMO worthless) DOS based IDE.
Watcom produces DOS based compilers as well. Unless I'm badly mistaken,
none of their compilers has ever included a DOS based IDE.
Don't get me wrong: Watcom's compiler for DOS is perfectly good, but
then so is Borland's. If you expect a DOS based IDE when you buy
Watcom, you're likely to be dissappointed.
Later,
Jerry.
