Yes but until it is demonstrated that there is enough mass then all
evidence thus far doesn't support a collapsing universe, and if it
continues to expand then there won't be enough material to recycle since it
will be spread out too much to be of any consequence in the grand scheme of
things.  A universal energy crisis of Biblical proportions of sorts.
