KS> In my area, two major municipalities have gone 800. The Town of

Well, two points.
On the trunktracker, it works. It is somewhat deaf when searching
for id's, and the data channel, but in most cases will most likely do
what is needed. I have not had time to hook it to the service
monitor, but it does seem to work. When monitoring a data
channel in a county close to me, my Motorola and IFR service
monitors decode, but the Trunktracker will not.
It still is better than what the hobby sector has had up till now.
Secondly, do you know if Capital District Ambulance went 800 also?
If memory serves me right, from back in the dark ages when I worked
there, we used UHF to talk on the fire department channels, VHF to
the hospital, and VHF for the business channel. 155.12?
