Soul coughing is a band on the rise.  They have been around for a few
years floating around college radio stations.  They are a mixture of
jazz, dance hall music and pure poetry.  Unfortunately they were
included on the Batman and Robin soundtrack.  A pure disgrace to be
linked with that movie.  Screaming Headless Torsos has been around for a
couple of years.  They too have been making the college radio rounds.
They are a mixture of many types of music mainly jazz, fusion and funk.
There guitarist is one Dave Fuscnyski.   I don't know if you have heard
of him but he is a rather able guitarist.  Check them both out if you
have the chance.  I got to know of these bands from 4 years as a D.J. at
KFSR at Cal State Univ Fresno.
