Could it be that you call a routine and don't return? In Dos batchfiles you can
write this:

this.bat
============

echo This is me!
this.bat


or

this.bat
=========

echo This is me!
call this.bat


I'm no REXX or batch expert, but one of these causes a memory leak. DOS
returns an error, but OS/2 will swap I assume.
