Hello, All.

This is something you all might like. I am in the process of emptying out
a storage room that I've had for years and moving into another storage room
that's half the size of the old one. During this, I found a SuperMicro
P6SBA motherboard that was given to me a few years ago in perfect
condition. I put a spare Celeron/400 (Slot A case IIRC) in it, booted it
up, and it works. I tried putting OS/2 on the system and it flies, so I
put the motherboard in a brand-new case I've been carrying around in the
original cardboard box for a few years.

It's actually pretty fast and seems to be perfect for the BBS. Since my
BBS doesn't really get a ton of usage, it was a waste to use a
multi-gigahertz system for it.

I've got some more work to do on it, such as put in a NIC and configure
OS/2 the way I want it for the BBS, but hopefully within a week or two I'll
have my old new system up and running.

I just couldn't bring myself to toss the motherboard. :)

Later,
Sean

... Bigamy: one wife too many. Monogamy: same idea.
