subject: Netmail?

Rich, I was wondering if you got my netmail. You are running a point, I
noticed, but I sent mail to the "bossnode" for you, under your point's
address. I was addressing the fact that you do not want collectibles
discussed here, and/or trading, selling, buying, or pleas for help in
locating said objects. I also directly addressed some of Carol's concerns -
specifically her fears that 1) the echo would degrade to a forsale conference
if messages like that are allowed, and 2) that trading via fido is dangerous
because you can't "examine" up front what you are getting - which also makes
for hot opportunities for scam artists out there who will get you to send
money or an item to trade, then rip you off. Both of these concerns are
absolutely needless, and I addressed both those points in detail in my
netmail. I also proposed an experiment so you could see for yourself the
correctness of my position - based as I indicated, on my own extensive
experience moderating national echos. And I replied to some of your points,
too. But as I said, I never got an answer to the ideas I forwarded, and I
would still like one -- IF you got my mail.
Anyhow, after one week of getting no reply at all to my initial netmail to
you, I wrote you again - just a quickie letter to ask if you got my first
netmail, and now another week has gone by and no reply -- again. Me
thinkist thou ist not receiving mine netmails! So with no alternative left
but to ask here, (if you can't do netmail, you can't do netmail after all...)
I decided to ask if you had received them. If so, please reply. If you
have not gotten those two netmails, I can post the main points here, and we
can go from there...
P.S. Remember, I have no internet access at present, so I can't write you
there.
