Hello Bob! 25 Apr 07 20:53, you wrote to me: RC>> mere 23 days after completing basic. BK> And no one has ever shown he did so under dishonorable BK> circumstances. He was apparently injured in the service. A lot BK> of men have been injured in the service. That is not BK> dishonorable. The first man to die in Desert Strom did so in a BK> vehicle accident. Is that dishonorable? I recall a number of BK> marines dying in a training accident in basic training some BK> years back, is that dishonorable? I once met a navy vet who was BK> discharged after being wounded in a weapon's malfunction. Was BK> that dishonorable? He was pushed down some stairs by an another airman who was horseplaying or bullying him. He was given the choice to stay in and recover or to take a medical discharge. He took the latter, which was his choice. Having said that, he doesnt have any room to talk about the service of others, especially if those others served full commitments. A shoplifter has no standing to call a bank robber a thief. A College dropout has no standing to call a graduate a dummy. RC>> Where is your indignation here? BK> Where is your indignation when others trash Ross' service? Where BK> is your indignation when others trash Ross' disability? Ross' service got trashed the minute he started trashing the service of others when his own could not stand up to comparison, ie no full commitment, furthermore his service got trashed when he tried to embellish his service, ie tried to say he was a full A-10 weapons mechanic, when he length of duty past basic could not have supported any of said training. When you served, you spent 42 days in basic, then you were sent to a tech school, were you not? Dont expect anyone to show compassion to Sauer, like Wayne he spent too much time sharing his biography with everyone else and later he got caught in a lie. BK> A poster in debate disparaged Stan's service. I shut him down BK> the first time. That's the rule. BK> I play by the rules of the echo. Is that your justification? Or BK> do you really want to trash another's service? I am certainly not trashing your service, in fact I defended it just the other day. == Ross Fidonet Feeds Or Fidonet In Your Newsreader! http://www.easternstar.info Archive And Discussion Forum For Fidonets looniest: http://www.matzdobre.us R18 Blog: region18.blogspot.com | Fido Blog: fightonet.blogspot.com Personal Blog: http://www.cassell.us | Email: ross[at]cassell[dot]us ...
