Quoting (part of) a msg from you of 12 Dec 1995:

Phil,

I am not very good at the subject, but at last I managed to get it working
for mij DOWNSORT program.

 PC>   PFILEFINDBUF3     pff;

 PC>         pff += pff->oNextEntryOffset;   // should point to next

ppf is a pointer to a structure, so ppf+1 points to the next structure
(in an array). But oNextEntryOffset is an offset expressed in bytes!
I use an intermediate (char-)pointer to calculate the new value of pff.
Something like:

        char *tmp;

        tmp += pff->oNextEntryOffset;
        ppf  = (PFILEFINDBUF3)tmp;

Maybe it can be done more elegantly.

Cheers, Rob
