subject: NFS for OS/2

Hi Nick,
NM> Does IBM still produce a NFS implementation for OS/2?
I can't answer that for sure sorry, but they definately used to, so it would
surprise me if they have stopped selling it. You may have to move to Warp
Server to obtain it now, but I cannot be sure...
NM> Are both client and server versions available? Price?
From memory when I last looked at it yes, both were available, however I also
remember that it was not cheap.
NM> If I knew what SMB was I might have an opinion on that. (-:
SMB = Server Message Block code, the basis of what is behind the common set
of NETBIOS file and print sharing methodologies contained in common
capability products like Win311, Win95, WinNT Workgroups, OS/2 Peer, SAMBA
(for *nix platforms), etc...
Regards........pk.
