Hmmm. I don't remember where it says that. That man should work hard even
if they wouldn't get poor for failure to do so.

Is this particular conclusion documented in the Bible in unambiguous language?

I think you're glossing over an inherent characteristic of humans. Are
there any calculations in your conclusion that include pride? This is pride
in the recipients I'm referring to.

And, additonally, what exactly in "our way of doing it" strips
them of self-esteem?  Should we hold a televised awards ceremony for all
recipients of government help just so they can overcome their dimenished
sense of self?
