Wouldn't help anyway, as the infringement speed isn't locked on the
Fairey's display like it is on the KR-11s.  It changes as each passing
vehicle's speed is checked.  I have been shown the locked display on the
KR-11 mobiles more than once though (I'm extremly sorry to say).

BTW, the slant-beam Fairey's are checked for +/-1km/h accuracy both before
AND after each "session", and if there is a discrepancy, all
tickets issued during that session are voided.  It happened to me once,
several years ago.  I'd been booked at Chermside, and a week or so later,
received as letter telling me not to pay the fine.  No reason was given,
but further investigation showed that there had been some doubt as to the
unit's accuracy.  Lucky, eh?  :)
