I just made a real mess of a Win98 MS installation log file with a
doo-hickey I normally use to do string replacement with.  It will operate
on CR LF codes, either individually or as combined sequences, as well as
text.  It's called simply, Replace.  I'll send you a copy.  (The .lzh
archive is less than 3k, BTW.)
