I find it very easy to suspend belief and get into the disnisical mode
for an adventure, be it a movie or a ride at Disneyland. So, what I
remember is actually being shrunk down to a molecue in "Inner Space" and
actually travelling under the North Pole in the submarines. I grew up in
Southern California and went to Disneyland at least once or twice a year
since my birth. It helps that I first experienced many of these things
as a very young child. As I got older I was still able to connect to the
wonderment of being on those rides as a small kid and that bound me to
those rides with a great affection for the rest of my life.
