You are wasting your time with that extra step. Just get Esscode64 and
it will strip out all the headers, ect. and decode all the files at
once. 
BTW I think uudecode.ttp is supposed to bypass all that header info
anyway, but esscode64 is the most advanced program of its kind for the
Atari line.
