A list of motherboards to avoid would probably be larger than one to
recommend. I don't know anything about QDI, but I would have to recommend
against any TX-chipset based board. The TX chipset prohibits caching more
than 64MB of RAM, so adding more would result in a 20% decrease in
performance.
Stick with HX, or go with a 200 or 233MHz Pentium II setup instead. I'd
recommend the latter option, using ASUS, Supermicro, or Tyan.
