Made me so jumpy I hated to turn the machine on CA>after awhile for fear it would start acting up again. (I had CA>two machines at the time). This all reminds me of a line of monitors used with the Commodare computers many moons ago, wherein many would develope a solder problem where the flyback xfmr was attached to the pc board. The most lasting fix was to squeeze the fat plastic end of a ball point pen between the pc board and the bottom case. Putting a drop of nail polish on it before forceing it in would insure it stayed in place. (some times baleing-wire fixs are the best answer 8-) Ciao, Ack. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ It's only a hobby ... only a hobby ... only a* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
