why indeed... when one pays $$$ there is an obligation from the one
receiving the $$$... if that obligation includes support or bugfixes, then
they must be provided... i've never seen any free software that could stand
up to that... in fact, i've been forced to leave some excellent free
software in the crapper because there were no bugfixes and the only support
was from users who didn't know the internals and couldn't or wouldn't read
the code...

so anyway... was that a serious question or just a poor attempt at a spamming run? ;)
