Hi Shari,
SM> I took my 5 and 7 year olds and my 5 year old nephew.
SM> They all loved it and asked to see it the next night.
I expect that my 3 and 7 year old nephews will like it, I hope. When
that time will be, I don't know. Hopefully, sooner rather than later.
Will the parade become a 'must see' for them as the Lion King Parade
was, and Fantasmic! is, I don't know.
SM> Granted it is not the Electric Light Parade, but
SM> it will be memories for the next generation. I haven't seen any
SM> specials on it so I didn't know what to expect.
Before the AP party, I had no idea what to expect either, other than it
would have floats, fiber optics and pixies. My immediate reaction to
LM was 'huh, what was that all about?', which led directly into
disappointment. It wasn't until I saw the tv special that I found out
what the story behind the performance was really about. It helped
clear up some of my confusion, but should the story have been that
murky? I hope that it is improving, but did you figure out the story
behind the performance from your viewing? If you did, then they have
cleaned up the storyline or you are more observant than me.
SM> We were on Main St. the second night too,
SM> that could have something to do with it.
I saw it both at Small World, and at Main Street, and have to agree, it
looked much better on Main Street, and had fewer technical clitches.
Did they have the show stops 'reversed', first on Main Street, then on
Small World for the initial showings each night? I heard they show
Main Street first to help with crowd control after the first showing.
