Can't say I have ever known myself to be that close to the 
infamous, but Clifford Olsen was picked up several miles from 
a village I lived in on the coast. It was an hour and a half 
drive from the only close town, and he had hitchhikers. By this 
time he had been under suspicion for a while, and when he turned 
off the pavement onto a logging road, they picked him up. They 
decided it just wasn't worth the risk.

It must be halloween turning me to morbid thoughts.

How are you surviving the hurricane season? It seems every time 
I look at the weather echo, they are using the next new name. 
Has a season ever been so busy they have had to cycle through 
the entire list?


It could be worse ...
