 A hero can be a lot of things, but not one thing I said
 portrayed me as a hero. I knew one hero who served in 4 wars,
 one undeclared. He was in combat units for one of them, but his
 highest decoration was earned no where near a battle field when
 he saved a child's life.

 I never claimed any form of heroism. However, that doesn't stop
 Hulett and co from distorting and twisting to make it look that
 way.

 And you were right at the top of this msg. We all had important
 roles to play. We may be considered cogs in the wheel, but we
 all did our part. As a result the job got done, and nobody got
 killed. Not in any unit I served in. And some lives were saved.
 I never claimed I saved them, I kept the guys who did save them
 in a position to do it.

 Ain't a bad claim to be able to make.
