subject: The saga of the expensive thimble!

I'm with you Dorothy, I've tried wearing a thimbel and I do just as you do. I
put the thimble on the finger I was pushing the needle with and enevidebly
use the finger next to it, holding the one with the thimble up like it was a
sore thumb...are we a case or what! I too give up and use the bandaids,
sometimes two so I can keep on going. seems like there ought to be an easier
way but I haven't found it. machine stitching just won't do when you want
that authentic quilted look.. do take care and hang in there, maybe someday
they'll come up with something to satisfy us..
The advantage to traveling the straight and narrow path is: no one is trying
to pass you..:) be good to yourself.. Bettie
