I'd tend to agree with you, if not for the fact that there are a lot 
more edits than for just the solo. Or to put it another way, they still 
used stuff that was overdubbed, yet *didn't* use stuff that *wasn't* 
overdubed on the final take. I mean, why use a different take for the 
intro when it's nothing but piano?

Wasn't the big news a few years ago that Abbey Road was being remixed to 
5.1?
