How anyone can fly the damn things with a built in 1/4 second
reflex delay is beyond me. I had an idea I'd like to be a
pilot when I was a kid but I don't think they make jets 
for 6'6" pilots do they?
I seem to recall one of the Mercury 7, Scott Carpendar perhaps
had to have the hatch to the capsule modified because he'd 
gained an inch  while in training.
Read where the U2 has flight dynamics requiring the pilot maintain
a 12 knot airspeed margin and required topping off the fuel
after reaching altitude as they leak fuel until
they reach flight speed and everything tightens up from
heating of flight surfaces expanding.
