-=> Quoting Mike Feigin to All <=- MF> I've had OS/2 since about 3 weeks after it came out... never ran any MF> fixpacks. What should I run, and what are the file names? Do you MF> need to run preceeding fixpacks before running one? (for example, do MF> I need to run fixpack 10 before 14?) I'm assuming you are using WARP. If so, the last released for general availability Fixpack is #10. You could be subject to troubles and a reinstall if you got alhold of a later number than that i.e. #14. The Fixpacks are cumulative, which means that all fixes to that particular version of OS/2 are included, so the latest generally available Fixpack (#10) would have all fixes for WARP. Now, if you DON'T have any apparent problems, DON'T install a Fixpack of any version. Each Fixpack has an APAR textfile, telling what problems are addressed by the Fixpack. You can get that textfile and check to see if you have a problem that it addressed. But, I will leave you with this: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" . Stu Davis ...
