        I disagree. It's fair to Disney, but not fair to customers who'd  
like to record their favorite movies. There's no room for commercial breaks  
in movies like the Lion King. It messes up all the atmosphere. Well, this  
is just my opionion -- I could be wrong. However, when I get to receive pay  
tv here, it's normal not to see any commercials while they show a movie. No  
TV station logos, no breaks for weather forecasting, and most of all no one  
who annoys the viewer to buy something. I don't mind any of these  
commercial breaks between movies.

        I'm sorry if you disagree with this, Carol, but it's just my own  
little opinion, and I'm happy when I've a nice movie on video to watch  
without being bothered with commercials or something. =)

        Maybe that's different. As far as I know, in germany the tv  
channels aren't allowed to show too many commercials (or to waste the  
viewer's time with too long commercials). I'm very happy with that. Oh,  
what I write sounds somewhat rude I think. I'm sorry =). I apologize. Of  
course it's up to Disney what they do with their channel.

        There had been Nickelodeon on TV here as well, and I liked it very  
much. Unfortunately it's gone and I have no idea why and where. So, the  
Disney channel will soon not be a pay tv channel anymore? Carol -- ? I wish  
I could explain better how I meant that when I was so sad with the   
commercials. It's just that I find them highly disturbing. And often  
annoying. Sure Disney needs their own commercials, but I'd never like to  
see them in movie breaks. I think that would make me a little angry then,  
and that's sure not what those commercials are made for.

        And they can show as many commercials as they want, just NOT while  
the movies! =) Just wanted to say it louder so they can hear me =). TV  
stations here became rather greedy lately and show FAR too many  
commercials, they cut the movies so the movies are shorter and fill up the  
gaps with their GRRRRR commercials. They don't show the credits at the end  
of movies, too! =~( Also, they manipulate the loudness of movie and  
commercial so that the commercials are a pain in the ears - agressively  
loud, and the movie quite low, so that you've got to either disable the  
sound (I always do) when commercials come up, or turn it way down... not to  
forget that if it get's worse - people might have to keep the remote always  
in their hands if they don't want commercials in their recordings. I find  
that is no way to have satisfied customers with a tv station. With Disney  
it might be different, that depends. However, I sure would love to see the  
Disney channel. Sorry if some of what I said sounded unkind =(, please tell  
me what you think of all this.
