Quite so. If I get a chance to do so, I always sit at the machine 
with the new user and make a safe-boot and tell them "Store this 
off-site where you won't be tempted to use it for data".
"But I don't know what all those tools are!"
"Neither do I know which end of the jumper cables to put in the 
gas tank, so i'll call for a repair man, and he will show me how 
to use them when the time comes, but at least I'll have them in 
my trunk".
